Scientists have just made new recommendations regarding the use of red and processed meat.

Dr Bradley Johnston, Dalhousie University, Canada, said: 'Out of 12 randomized controlled trials, we found no significant relationship with cancer or disease risk. heart or diabetes for people who eat red and processed meat . '

Although these new recommendations are undoubtedly controversial, scientists are confident in the evidence gathered based on the most comprehensive assessments.

The researchers said before making recommendations also looked at other studies conducted on millions of people.

Dr Johnston added: 'Based on the results, we cannot say with certainty that eating red or processed meat causes cancer, diabetes or heart disease.'

The study is expected to change the extreme view of red meat, especially eliminating the inaccurate impression that sometimes suggests that some meat products may cause cancer.
