HTC has launched a device called HTC Mini, which acts as a remote control for the HTC Butterfly smartphone (the international version of the DROD DNA model at America).

Basically, the HTC Mini connects to the device (in this case the HTC Butterfly phone) via Bluetooth and lets users make calls without carrying the phone out of their pocket.

In addition, the HTC Mini also uses the NFC standard for " pair " pairing with the phone and acts as a remote transfer station. Thus, HTC Mini can display messages, calendar and call log on monochrome screen.

And when the user's smartphone is connected to a high-definition television (HDTV), the HTC Mini can be used to navigate the navigation menus (of both the TV and the smartphone).

According to GSMArena, two other noteworthy features of the HTC Mini are the ability to act as the "trigger" button to take a picture and search phone functions.
