Space rocket corporation (RSC) Energia of Roscosmos has just signed a contract with space tourism development company Space Adventures Inc. (USA) about a trip to space. Accordingly, 2 tourists will go to the International Space Station (ISS) on the Soyuz MS spacecraft in 2023.
The website of the Russian corporation has confirmed this information.
"As planned, during the expedition, a person will take a flight with a Russian astronaut to make a trip to space from Russia's space on the ISS," Energia Group said.
The identity of the above visitors has not been revealed.
Roscosmos and Space Adventures have been co-operating space tours since 2001. Space Adventures has also organized to bring 7 wealthy tourists into space under the space program of Russian space Soyuz. from 2001 to 2009. However, none of them stepped out into space.
