Robot air purifier

Moneual (South Korea) has introduced a robot called Rydis H1004 II, capable of going around the house to filter the air and help the elderly when needed.

According to TechnologyReview, the robot running Windows 7 operating system will be sold in the US at the end of 2012 at a price of up to 1,000 USD.

However, besides the main function of wandering around the house to filter the air, the Rydis H1004 II is entrusted with another important task of helping the elderly when needed.

Specifically, acting as a safety system, Rydis will always keep in touch with the elderly living in the house through a bracelet named Heart Rate .

Rydis features a touch screen to fine-tune configuration, set features and be able to control via Wi-Fi connection.

When an elderly person falls or has an abnormality in the heartbeat, the bracelet will immediately send a notification to Rydiss, and the robot assistant will automatically call the "relative" to notify and love. ask for help when needed.
