Robot swing, kick the ball under the children's programming ability

Robot Marty can go, jump, kick the ball and it's easy for young children to program themselves for it.

Robotical, the British robot maker, successfully created the robot Marty to help children learn programming, Quartz said on Oct. 30.

Kids can write software to control Marty using Scratch , a graphical programming language that allows them to drag and drop commands to program the robot's movements.

Robot Marty can go, jump, even kick the ball. Robotical reduced production costs and made Marty programming easier by installing fewer motors in Marty's legs than other bipedal robots.

"I hope Marty will be an affordable learning tool that will give kids technology and programming excitement," said producer Alexander Enoch.

The company plans to sell Marty to the market in 2017 for about $ 120.
