In an interview with Russian news agency Ria Novosti, Sergei Kostenko, director of the Orbit Technology Company, said the hotel's first module will be launched into orbit in 2015-2016. The module has a living space of 20m ³ , including four compartments designed for 7 guests.

Up to now, there have been a number of space tours done, but tourists have to live together in the International Space Station (ISS) with astronauts with rather poor living conditions.
