Ms. Phuong Thi, living in Thu Duc, went to Mai Chi Tho Street toward the city center, saying that this morning, it was impossible to distinguish high-rise buildings."The sky is white, looking ahead is a milky white as Dalat is going to winter. The distance above 500m is not clear to me," she said.

Worried about the mist due to pollution, Ms. Dinh Huyen (Binh Thanh District) carefully wears masks and eyeglasses for children before sending them to school."Heavenly weather in Saigon is so strange lately, so blind and murky, so I am very worried about the health of my family, especially my children with weak resistance ", Ms. Huyen worried.

The fog appears dense from early morning to about 9am, the fog fades when the sun is shining. By noon, the fog almost disappeared.

Talking to PV, Mr. Dang Van Dung - Deputy Director of the Southern Region Hydro-meteorological Station - said that the fog covering Ho Chi Minh City's sky this morning was wet because of the cold air diffusion . "Because of the steam in the air condensation, plus the sky, it creates fog," Dung said.

According to Dung, the results from the monitoring stations show that the phenomenon of dryness due to air pollution and the effects of dust from forest fires from Indonesia has decreased after the peak day of October 6. " The continuous rain on a large scale in the South has blinded and sunk and disappeared," Dung said.

Before that, from October 5 to 7, fog appeared dense in Ho Chi Minh City and Southern provinces from early morning until noon. The Southern meteorological meteorological station identifies that the main fog is dry-blind which occurs in big cities such as Ho Chi Minh City, Bien Hoa and Can Tho due to pollution. In addition, forest fires from Indonesia caused the wind to bring dust and smoke to other countries in the region, including Vietnam.
