Sarus cranes return to live on Kien Giang land

10 years ago, the Sarus Crane returned to the area of Binh An commune, Kien Luong district (Kien Giang) with the number of over 360 children. However, the red-headed cranes here have become less and less and have been absent for nearly two years.

The cause of cranial reduction is due to the narrowing of the crane's habitat. The fields of rice fields - the main food source of cranes today become shrimp ponds, stone and clay mining projects.
