Discover rare black neck cranes in India

The World Wildlife Fund (WWF) in India said that seven black-necked cranes were discovered in Zemithang valley in Tawang district, Arunachal Pradesh (India) , of rare bird species at risk. muscle extinction is high when the number of black-necked cranes declined rapidly over the years.

During the winter, these flocks often fly to the valley of Zemithang, Phobjika and Bomdaling in Bhutan to stay free of cold weather.

According to WWF, the number of crowed cranes was found in Quinghai on the Yunnan plateau - Guizhou and in northeastern Bhutan. Zemithang Valley is one of the only two cold habitats for black-necked cranes in India.

Black-necked cranes are classified as vulnerable species and are classified in Appendix 1 in the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN) Red List 2003.

It is known that to date, the number of black-necked cranes in the world is estimated at about 11,000, both wild and being protected by the World Conservation Union.
