Scan laser, detect under the steps 'ancient ghost' 2,600 years old
Archaeologists in Rome (Italy) believe that this mysterious ancient tomb belongs to the wolf-raised king - Romulus, also the founder of ancient Rome.
A 3D laser scan image shows an ancient tomb never seen below the steps of the Curia Julia Senate Building at the Roman Square, a famous ancient monument cluster in Rome.
According to the latest announcement from archaeologist Afonsina Russo, director of the Colosseum Archaeological Park (the unit of observation of the ancient ruins of Rome), the initial survey showed that it was the tomb built for Romulus, the king Rome legend.

The ancient tomb dates back to 2,600 years, with a stone coffin and a small temple, with the Romulus altar. At the time it was built, this place was below the Comitium, the meeting place in the heart of the old city and also the place where public council votes were held.
It is also very close to Nigeria's Lapis, which is Latin for "Black Stone," an unlucky thing. That was the marker where Romulus was killed.
Inside the large "ghost" ancient tomb is a light volcanic stone sarcophagus, however . the king's body is not found - (photo: Parco Colosseo).
However, when excavating and opening a stone sarcophagus made of volcanic rock, the scientists "fell" because the interior was completely empty, literally an old ghost tomb ! The authors have yet to signify the cause of this ghostly disappearance as well as any traces of vandalism or grave robbers.
Romulus, the first king of the legendary Rome, was called the "wolf-raised king" , because according to legend he and his twin brother Remus were abandoned by the river after his grandfather, King Numitor. of Alba Longa was deposed. The brothers were rescued by a wolf, fed, nourished until found by a shepherd.
