Scientists find traces of modification in DNA: Are humans products of 'design'?
Where did we come from and where are we going? This is a question that humans have pondered since ancient times and is also a direction that scientists are constantly exploring.
Regarding the origin of mankind, throughout history, many people have put forward many different hypotheses and conjectures, the most widely accepted being Darwin's theory of biological evolution, that is, humans evolved from ancient apes on Earth through a long process of natural selection and mutation.
However, in recent years, some scientists have come up with a shocking idea, suggesting that humans are not indigenous to Earth but were carefully designed and created by aliens.
They believe that they have found a mysterious code in human DNA, which could be a signal hidden in human DNA by intelligent alien life, proving that humans are the product of aliens. This view has caused a lot of controversy and doubt, but at the same time it also gives us new understanding and thinking about ourselves and the universe.
In human DNA there is a pattern of numeric and hieroglyphic symbols. (Illustration: ZME).
The scientists who proposed this idea are two Russian geneticists, Markus Chavekin and Vladimir Shmirov. After 13 years of research, they discovered that in human DNA there is a pattern of arithmetic and hieroglyphic symbols , these symbols could be signals hidden in human DNA by intelligent extraterrestrial life.
They published a paper in 2019 titled 'Signals in Earth's Genetic Code' detailing their findings and theories. They believe these signals suggest that humans were carefully designed and created by aliens, rather than evolving naturally.
'We propose a hypothesis that there is an intelligent signal source in the Earth's life system and that this signal source has left its mark in the genetic code,' they write in the paper.

The genetic code refers to how the information contained in a DNA molecule is converted into a protein molecule. A DNA molecule consists of four bases: adenine (A), cytosine (C), guanine (G), and thymine (T). These four bases are arranged in a specific order to form the double helix structure of DNA.
Every three bases make up a codon, and each codon corresponds to an amino acid. Amino acids are the basic units of proteins. Therefore, information in the DNA molecule is encoded and transmitted through codons. Markus Chavekin and Vladimir Shmirov discovered that in the genetic code, some codons have special hieroglyphic-like symbols and arithmetic patterns.
They called these codons signs of 'intelligent signalling' . They found that the total number of bases in some codons is 37, and 37 is a prime number, that is, a number that is only divisible by 1 and itself.
They believe that prime numbers are a universal mathematical language that can be used to communicate with extraterrestrial intelligence. They also discovered that the total number of bases in some codons is 6, 9, 12, 15, 18, etc. and these numbers are all divisible by 3. They believe that this is a hieroglyphic symbol system that can be used to represent various geometric figures.

6 can represent a square, 9 can represent an equilateral triangle, 12 can represent a regular hexagon, 15 can represent a pentagram, 18 can represent a six-pointed star, etc.
These two scientists believe that these numeric patterns and hieroglyphic symbol systems are signals deliberately left in human DNA by intelligent alien life to prove that humans were designed by aliens. Therefore, they have hypothesized that humans were carefully designed and created by aliens.
Markus Chavekin and Vladimir Shmirov argue that aliens used the materials and living conditions available on Earth to genetically modify and optimize primitive life on Earth, allowing it to evolve into modern humans. " We assume that there is an advanced intelligent life system on Earth that has left its mark on the genetic code and modified the Earth's life system," they write in the paper. They believe that aliens may have used a computer-program-like approach to design human DNA. They call aliens "designers" and humans "robots of flesh and blood."
After Markus and Shmirov's paper was published, it quickly caused a stir in the scientific and social communities.

Many people were surprised and curious about their views, while many were skeptical and critical of their views. Those who supported their views believed that their discovery was a major breakthrough that provided a new perspective and explanation for the question of human origins. The numerical patterns and hieroglyphics they discovered were of a very complex and sophisticated design that could not have arisen naturally or randomly.
Those who oppose their views believe that their findings are a kind of pseudoscience and lack sufficient evidence and logic to support them. The numerical patterns and hieroglyphic symbols they discovered were either coincidences or they appeared due to bias in the research process. These patterns and symbols have no special or universal meaning, nor do they have any function or influence, they are just randomly occurring or naturally evolved parts of the genetic code.
