Gary Kremen, owner of Sex.com, did not give any comment and details of the exchange were not disclosed.
The purchase was made through InternetRealEstate.com, which has been involved in large domain conversions like Beer.com for 7 million USB, Telephone.com ($ 2 million), Shop.com ($ 3.5 million). ) and some other "exclusive" domains such as Computer.com, College.com, Diamond.com, Timeshares.com or CreditCard.com.
The Internet Real Estate also emphasized that they had no relationship with the new owner of Sex.com. Escom wants the website to be fully updated to confirm this is " a completely new sex.com ".
Kremen has chosen among those who want to buy this domain throughout the year because he plans to give up the " adult " content business.
The domain Sex.net is still being managed by Kremen's Grant Media.
