SIM cards help parents control their children's phones
UK parents can now control their children's mobile phones remotely from a SIM card driven by a computer.
The Bemilo system provides services that help parents prevent their children from accessing the network, texting or calling at certain times. This service is not an application, so the child can not be removed.
SIM cards help parents better understand their children through phone activities.
To use the service, parents need to buy a 'security package' with the SIM card inside, then install it on their phone and use it at a rate of £ 2.95 a month.
"It's a SIM-like SIM card that anyone can buy from other networks, but it allows parents to control all their children's phone activity , " said Simon Goff, and Bemilo's president told the BBC.
'They can allow or deny certain contacts the right to call their child's phone, and can set the time of day when the phone is allowed to operate.'
For example, if parents want to turn off their phones while they are in class, they can do so remotely via a website.
But even if most of the phone's functions are disabled, parents can still contact their children and the children can also contact their parents.
The service also allows parents to read text messages on their children's phone to find out if their child is being bullied or texting with unhealthy content.
