Skis on the ground did not set a Guinness record
As expected of the movie "Return to the Future II", in 2015, people began to use the impressive "air skis".
Record airborne surfing
Amazing skis like in "Return to the Future II" will soon become reality in the near future.
Just a few days ago, a Canadian inventor named Alexandru Duro set the Guinness World Record for " The longest route for aerial skis" . To seize this record, Duro just needs to "walk" a distance of 50m in the air, but he smashed all expectations by surfing to . 275.9m on the surface of Ouareau in Quebec, Canada.
Duro's skateboard model has 4 flying propellers and is completely controlled by foot . Thanks to this impressive achievement, Duro declares his skateboard to be the "first real aerial skateboard in the world":
"I want to prove that aerial skis can fly in a stable manner and that people can stand and control skis by foot," the Canadian inventor asserted to Guinness.
While this record was made by moving on the water, Duro said his skateboard model could "surf" on other types of surfaces and could also reach "terrifying heights". Let's follow Duro's record making process in the video below:
