In addition to Microsoft's Windows Vista, other giants such as SAP, Oracle, Redhat and BEA also have many promising software in 2006 .
Microsoft products
Microsoft giant intends Windows Vista to be the strategic card in its software industry next year. Windows Vista is intended to be released in the second half of 2006, 5 years after Windows XP.
Microsoft promises users this is a better file management and security operating system. However, it is not known what the truth will be. Experimental beta is still controversial. The Vista generation Windows Server will be available in 2007.
One of the products that is also very interesting is Internet Explorer 7, which is promised to tighten security measures. Microsoft Exchange 2003 will support the calculation of 64 bits and multi-core processor generation. Microsoft Office 12 is in progress and is expected to be released in the second half of 2006.

BEA is consolidating its newly purchased software, Plumtree Portal, with its flagship product, WebLogic Portal. By the end of the second quarter of 2006, their products will be launched towards end users with features such as building web applications with search and analysis tools.
SAP & Oracle in the persistent fight
The CRM market is still SAP's target next year. SAP has been planning to launch its product during the last Christmas, however, it seems they think the new year will be a better time.
Oracle promises to give users the best features for each product they provide. Project Fusion is the next generation of their enterprise product line in the battle with SAP, especially with their data transfer support modules expected to be launched next year.
IBM, Redhat, and Sun MicroSystems . with new steps
IBM Workplace Managed Client, the next generation of the Big Blue network office application, distributed via the web browser, will start supporting OpenDocument format. IBM's choice will greatly affect the battle of standard format for office files between Microsoft and other competitors .
Leading in Linux market share, RedHat introduced 3 high-end software collections that support browsing websites on Java Server platform. This is a very important step for RedHat before its competitors SourceLabs, JBoss, IBM and Oracle in this area.
Sun aims to free a variety of applications in its Java Enterprise System line. Sun Ray, Tarentella and SeeBeyond in turn will be free for customers.
