Cyber-shot DSC-G1

The Cyber-shot DSC-G1 digital camera model has brought Sony to the level of other competitors such as Kodak, Nikon and Canon about equipping the camera with wireless connectivity. Cyber-shot DSC-G1 can use the 802.11b / g network to connect to devices that support standards adopted by the Digital Living Network Alliance (DLNA).

Cyber-shot DSC-G1 is equipped with 3.5-inch LCD screen; 2GB internal memory is capable of storing hundreds of photos; Memory Stick Duo (or Pro Duo) expansion slot with maximum capacity up to 8GB. The camera also has built-in image search and management software.

Cyber-shot DSC-G1 also integrates Sony's inherited optical image stabilization technology, which reduces blur due to hand shake when shooting, and lens cover opening horizontally (instead of vertical down as the other model) to speed up the preparation process before taking a photo.

Cyber-shot DSC-G1 is expected to hit the market in April for $ 600.
