Spain: ban smoking in public places
Starting at midnight on Thursday (August 31), at the food and beverage shops in the country began smoking ban. In the office and in public places, this ban must be implemented from September 1.
The government allows to set aside 100,000 m 2 to build separate buildings for smokers who need to go there to "enjoy".
"This ban is necessary because smoking has caused 50,000 deaths in the year. According to the survey, there are about 30% of the population smoking," a government official said.
