Sterilize touch screen with ultraviolet rays
Microsoft is preparing to license the patent for touch screen sterilization technology, Engadget technology page (USA) reported on February 22.
Microsoft invented ultraviolet touch screen sterilization technology
This technology will project ultraviolet rays from a good video clip from inside the device to a touch screen for fingerprints removal and elimination of common germs.
Microsoft's new technology also supports voice commands, allowing users to dictate when to start scanning and scanning.
There is no specific information yet on which product Microsoft will adopt.
Microsoft said that the new technology is not only useful for personal mobile devices, but also for public devices, such as ATM cash machine screens.
