The discovery of stomach cancer through breathing will create
Many life opportunities for patients with this disease.

Currently doctors diagnose this type of cancer by taking a gastric biopsy through a probe that has a flexible camera through the mouth to the esophagus.

But with the breath test , the specific chemical components in the stomachs of cancer will be detected more easily and quickly.

Professor Hossam Haick of Israel Technology Research Institute, the head of the research group, experimented with 37 patients with cancer, 32 with gastric ulcers and 61 with other stomach problems.

Through breathing, doctors not only discovered the differentiation between cancer patients and the rest, but also diagnosed the severity of cancer. This new test is also accurate on dogs.

80% of patients who detect stomach cancer are in an inoperable stage. Two-fifths of patients can continue to live for at least 1 year, but only one fifth of their lives lasts up to 5 years. So this success will be a big step to create more opportunities for cancer patients.
