Storm shelter resistant to winds up to 180km / h
Responding to unusually severe storms and storms and responding to the needs of those who like to camp in the wilderness, the German company Heimplanet has produced a robust inflatable tent and wide enough for 10 refugees.
Mavericks tents are based on the structure of diamond crystals, allowing it to distribute the pressure (wind) across the surface and maintain a solid structure in bad weather. According to the manufacturer, the Mavericks can withstand winds up to 180km / h.
When the air is injected, the tent will automatically expand (as in the picture), meaning that only one person takes and takes less than 10 minutes. The inlet air is led to 10 separate steam tubes, also the supporting frame for the tent. Safety systems with multiple gas hoses help prevent a leaky gas pipe from causing the hut to collapse. In other words, if a gas tube is deflated, the remaining 9 tubes still help the tent. The construction of the gas hoses also allows users to spot leaking and easily repairable locations as it consists of two layers, poly urethane (TPU) plastics can be patched or replaced.
The Mavericks have an internal floor area of 13m 2 and a height of 2 meters, enough to accommodate 10 people and their belongings. The tent has five windows and five smaller ventilation openings, all of which can be opened freely.
Beside Mavericks, Heimplanet also introduced two smaller tents, including NIAS space for 5 people and FISTRAL for 2 people. These two models will be available in 2015.
