On a trip to a swamp in Pantanal, Brazil, British photographer Paul Goldstein caught a mutant crocodile on his back. The crocodile is about 3.3 meters long. It is known that this is a black crocodile (Caiman), a rare animal that is in the IUCN red list.

Goldstein affirmed this was the first time he and the indigenous people had seen this humpback crocodile. According to his conjecture, the hump may be the result of a previous life-and-death battle or a born deformed crocodile.

3. Mutated crab has 3 eyes

Professor Gerhard Scholtz, Humboldt University, in Berlin, Germany, captured this Australian spider crab on the Hoteo River, in the North Island, New Zealand about 6 years ago. Instead of having two normal eyes, this mutant crab has three eyes.

On its back, it developed an excess like a beard unlike any other animal. Based on professional knowledge, the professor conjectured that this spider crab is a conjoined twins but has not been fully divided in the process of formation.
