2. Crystal rain

You may have known hail or meteor shower, but crystal rain is a more strange phenomenon that can only be seen in the universe.The star HOPS-68 is 1,350 light-years from Earth, a star with a similar structure to the Sun when it first formed. Around this star there exists a cloud of gas dust, in which the main component is green olivine crystals (a gemstone on Earth that is composed mainly of iron and magnesium).

It is especially due to the rather cold temperatures of these clumps of gas (about -170 degrees Celsius), causing olivine crystals to condense into small particles and falling like a bout of wonderfully beautiful blue crystals.

4. Super heat wave

The HD 80606b is another 'hot Jupiter' that is only four times bigger than the original we know. With elliptical orbits flattening the planet around its star, it takes 111.4 days and there is a distance of 0.88 times the distance of the Earth to the Sun. While observing this planet, the scientists discovered a very large change of thermal radiation on its surface.

The sudden change in radiation within a few hours caused the planet's surface temperature to double from 500 degrees C to more than 1,000 degrees Celsius. This phenomenon of temperature fluctuation is the largest of all. other planets that scientists have observed.

However, not only the temperature change, this special phenomenon caused unexpected radiation explosions. Such an explosion can generate wind on the surface of up to 17,000 km / h and create super-heat waves covering the entire planet. 5. Rain of sand and molten iron
