Strange phenomenon in ancient tomb makes experts tremble: Mysterious mummy waits to be reborn!
The tomb shows that the ancient custom really was too harsh.
In 2018, a team from the Archaeological Research Center of the University of Brussels (CReA-Patrimoine) completed an important excavation in Pachacamac, Peru. Here they discovered a well-preserved intact mummy.
Based on the evidence and examination results, the team of experts confirmed that this tomb was buried between the years 1000 and 1200, which means it has existed for more than 1000 years. According to experts, the deceased was wrapped in a giant cloth wrap that was used as a coffin.
However, experts have discovered a strange phenomenon in this thousand-year-old tomb. The bones in the tomb are very carefully arranged and there is a set of adult remains carefully arranged in the middle. Around this skeleton are the remains of many other people, mainly children, but they are messy.

Archaeologists noticed that the bodies of the children were placed in an extremely unusual position in the tomb. They are placed in a certain position with a certain intention. Eckhout believes this represents a kind of "afterlife reincarnation". Some of them may have died due to natural images such as illness, while others may have been used for religious activities such as sacrifice.
Peter Eeckhout, an archaeologist at the Free University of Brussels in Belgium, led the team of scientists. He said that according to what the research team obtained, the top of the tomb was covered with cloth and burial paraphernalia. It has most likely been the resting place of pilgrims.
These pilgrims traveled a long distance in search of the legendary panacea, and ended up dying from various diseases.

Archaeologists also found in the tomb a mysterious "false head" made of wood. According to local statistics, there are 5 such heads, but these heads are not wrapped in cloth but are inserted into the corpse of a mummy. This scene made archaeologists extremely scared.
Regarding this mysterious form of tomb, anthropologist Matthew Piscitelli of the University of Illinois believes: "These prosthetic heads could be used as a sacrifice to send the deceased to the afterlife".
As for the bones of the children in the tomb, Eckhout said they cannot be ruled out that they were used in sacrificial activities. However, experts are still not able to come to a final conclusion about this arrangement. Undeniably, this thousand-year-old tomb has added an unsolved mystery to the area.
