Stun with the pilot hovering over the spraying crater

Just hovering above the Benbow volcano, the pilot Andy Martin has recorded the image of boiling lava at his feet.

This filthy filmed movie is filmed at Benbow volcano , on the island of Ambrym, Republic of Vanuatu, southwest Pacific.

Fixed with a seatbelt, Martin filmed a footage longer than a minute close to one of the active lava lakes on the island.

For some, this scene is quite shocking but for the adventurous, Ambrym lava lake is the ideal destination for taking volcanic photographs.

In October 2016, photographer Chris Horsley and his explorer guide set up an overnight camp next to this active volcano.

In 2015, climber Nik Halik recklessly took a selfie, next to it was a volcanic eruption.

Ambrym, Ambae, Lopevi and Yasur are active volcanoes in dozens of volcanoes in this belt. The Ambrym volcano erupted several times over the past 100 years, while the Yasur volcano on Tanna Island was still erupting for centuries.

Active volcanoes often stimulate the curiosity of visitors but pose many challenges for indigenous people. Last year, the island was temporarily evacuated when the volcanic eruption cycle returned.

Last April, the Vanuatu government said it plans to permanently evacuate people from Ambae Island because of the lava ash that fires in the sky that could destroy crops, air and water pollution.

In early May, officials confirmed that all 10,000 inhabitants would have to resettle elsewhere. However, some people on Ambae Island do not fully support this plan due to fear of losing their land and culture.

According to a government spokesman, evacuation is not an easy decision, the islanders will be settled in two nearby islands. Infrastructure, schools will have to invest more, the process of negotiating land and housing must be calculated in detail.
