The U-3523 is the most modern submarine built by the Germans during World War II.

According to one theory, U-3523 submarine was sunk by British B24 Liberator bombers on May 6, 1945. However, the ship's debris has not been found yet. That is why a hypothesis emerged that the U-3523 was used by Nazi leaders to escape the country.

According to the museum's information, the submarine was found at a depth of 123 meters near the place marked by the British Air Force in 1945.

According to the director of museum Gert Norman Andersen, the U-3523 is the most modern submarine built by the Germans during World War II. Only two similar submarines were put into use.

The staff of the Naval Museum has no plans to bring the ship to the surface. So finding whether there are valuable furniture that the hypothesis that Hitler's generals have brought with them is not possible in the near future.
