Sun's grid computing service has just opened up with DoS

Picture 1 of Sun's grid computing service has just opened up with DoS The distributed computing system has long been published by Sun but has just been launched on March 22, allowing customers to purchase the right to exploit processing power over the Internet. However, on the first day, one of the system's applications was subject to denial of service (DoS) attacks.

The attack targeted the text-to-speech (text to speech) program developed by Callidus Software and placed on the grid provided by Sun. In response to the incident, Sun was forced to 'evacuate' the application and now only customers who have registered with them can log in to use it.

Last year, Sun intends to open the door for everyone to access the computer network, but a series of delays has pushed back the official release date until this week.

Sun's grid computing service allows everyone to access it instantly on the Internet and pay online via PayPal. The fee is 1 USD per CPU per hour of usage. Refer to http://www.network.com for more information.
