hate the edge of rivers, lakes, sea or shallow water, mud and sediment accumulate many species of water grass thrive again microorganisms decompose weeds of water gradually turn into swamp.
- Secondly, in dense forests, grasslands, basins or perennial frozen areas, low terrain, low slope, undrained, too wet ground, moisture-resistant plant species thrive. These plants die, rotting into thick black mud, gradually becoming marshes.
The world's swamp is mainly distributed in Asia, in which Siberi has the largest swamp area. Europe and North America also have some marshes.
The vegetation of the marshes are all herbaceous plants with high humidity such as: duck, moss, and seaweed. Swampy land can not be cultivated. Some of the marshes on the face are a velvety moss-like moss, underneath is a bottomless mud layer, if anyone unfortunately drops it is like entering a deadly trap. So people call the swamp a "blue trap". Today, science has been able to transform swamps into fields.
