Technology to process and recycle plastic waste into industrial fuel oil using pyrolysis method with conditions to recreate difficult to decompose components such as mixture of plastic waste, rubber . in domestic solid waste form a burning fuel source (PO oil). This technology has been put into operation in Da Nang Garbage Factory.

At present, Khanh Son landfill has 650 tons of garbage daily, about 8% of which is plastic (about 52 tons).

Every 3 tons of plastic produced 1 ton of PO oil, so on average every day Da Nang Garbage Factory will produce about 17 tons of PO oil, in addition to other products from the remaining waste.

The whole factory is located on a total area of ​​12ha, total investment capital is 520 billion dong, the first phase is 120 billion dong, and the first phase has been completed and the second phase investment continues.

The recovery of hard-to-decompose components in solid waste has many meanings, contributing to minimizing landfill, minimizing pollution from waste, improving and saving landfill areas.
