The 1.200km / h supercar will run through Europe

HyperLink will be built in three European countries, allowing cross country borders within minutes, instead of hours, such as by car.

According to IFL Science, the proposal to build a 1,200 km / h super-speed track in Europe was made by Hyperloop Transportation Technologies (HTT) after a road test in California, USA. The new project will establish a connection between Bratislava, Slovakia with Vienna, Austria and Budapest, Hungary. The Slovakian government has officially approved the plan.

"Slovakia is a technology leader in the fields of automation, materials science and energy industry, many of which are closely related to the Hyperloop system , " said Dirk Ahlborn, president HTT, said. "Hyperloop presence in Europe will encourage cooperation and progress in Slovakia in particular and Europe in general."

Hyperloop is a high-speed transport system , using vacuum lines, which means that the internal moving means reach speeds of over 1,200 km / h due to the absence of air resistance. Hyperloop is advertised as environmentally friendly by using electricity from renewable energy sources.

The concept of hyperloop was introduced in August 2013 by Elon Musk, CEO of SpaceX, USA. The two companies involved in developing the project include Hyperloop Technologies and Hyperloop Transportation Technologies.

The European train will allow passengers to travel from Vienna to Bratislava (56km) in a straight line for eight minutes and cross the road from Bratislava to Budapest (160km) in 10 minutes. HTT is also considering a 400km route from Bratislava to the city of Košice in eastern Slovakia, in which the super speedboat takes just 25 minutes to bring passengers to the destination compared to 4.5 hours by car.

"Hyperloop in Europe will significantly reduce distances and connect cities in an unprecedented way. This type of transport system will redefine the concept of mobility and strengthen cross-border cooperation in Europe." Said Vazil Hudak, Economy Minister of the Slovak Republic.
