The car tracks the health of the driver
A car maker in the United States says it will build vehicles that monitor the health of drivers and be able to drive themselves if the driver is sick or unconscious.
Ford says it will add more medical sensors in a new car so doctors can monitor the driver's health from a distance. The test version of the car has been operating in India, the Science Daily reported.

"We are testing the functionality so that physicians can diagnose the health of the driver and send data to a center so that the vehicle becomes a mobile ambulance," said Vijay Sankaran, chief technology officer, Ford.
Sankaran added that medical sensors will appear in many of its new models.
"For example, we have tested sensors that can advise drivers to park their cars on the curb or stop if they are having a health problem."
Ford engineers are also developing smart chairs, while integrating the sensors into the steering wheel, seat belts.
"Infrared sensors on the steering wheel will track the palm and face of the driver to detect temperature changes in a timely manner." Another sensor measures the cabin temperature so that the doctor can compare the body temperature. The driver in the seat belt will measure the driver's breathing , " Sankaran said.
