The 'crocodile hunter' daughter succeeds her father

The 8-year-old ' crocodile hunter ' Steve Irwin will start his entertainment business this week with films on the famous Discovery TV channel and speeches across the United States.

Bindi Irwin is a star in the 26-episode series "Bindi, the Jungle Girl" about the wild life on Discovery Kids this year. In the movie there will be some pictures of Bindi Irwin and his father when Steve is alive.

She will also speak at the National Press Club in Washington as well as appear in "The Ellen DeGeneres Show" and "The Late Show" with host David Letterman.

'She will be welcomed by open arms and it is reasonable. She is a very special child, 'said Discovery vice president Annie Howell.

Steve Irwin, 44, passed away on September 4 by being stabbed by stingray while working. He is an active protector of wildlife, being the ' nail ' character of the famous 'The Crocodile Hunter' television program around the world. After Steve and Bindi's death, he announced he would succeed his father. Bindi's US tour coincides with the screening of the "Ocean's Deadliest" documentary of her beloved father.

Bindi will also appear with the group The Wiggles to attend concerts in New York and Los Angeles. She has performed in front of thousands of people in Crocoseum, Australia.
