Things about Cassius - Crocodile is the most terrible in the world
An adept Australian hunter has spent his life hunting crocodiles and now lives with the world's most "captive" reptile, weighing up to 1 ton.
>>>Cassius Clay returns to the "largest crocodile in the world"
George Craig, 84, from Green Island, Australia, captured the "monster" Cassius crocodile, 5.5 meters long and weighs 1 ton, 30 years ago.
When captured in a river in 1987 in northern Australia, Cassius was horrified by the local population because of its " size " . This giant crocodile is also in danger of being hunted down and killed by hunters after attacking boats passing through the river where it resides.
So Mr. Craig decided to arrest Cassius to save his life and take it to the appropriate hiding place."Monster" crocodile has lived in Mr. Craig's Marineland Melanesia sanctuary for 30 years. It has lost a left leg and its tail because of past death battles.
Though living with Cassius for nearly three decades and feeding himself daily, Mr. Craig knows that this giant crocodile is ready to "eat, swallow" him for a second if given a chance.
Craig is an expert hunter, who has spent decades hunting rogue crocodiles, then bringing them to captivity so that they are no longer a threat to humans. His family's company established the Marineland Melanesia sanctuary in 1969, to provide a safe haven for dangerous reptiles.
