The man in the Ashanti tribe can take many wives, however, they have almost no divorce. If divorce happens then both husband and wife family will be responsible for healing this relationship. A special point is that women in this tribe are very "know how to do beauty" , along with their beautiful bodies as a heavenly advantage, they are conferred the title - the most beautiful woman "black continent".

Perhaps it is because of this "tilting water" beauty that the son's family has a custom of kidnapping the bride on her wedding day. Accordingly, the groom and his family will go to the girl's house to kidnap the bride.

Earlier, the girls were given a cowhide by their mother as a heirloom dish passed down from mother to daughter through life. When the bride was kidnapped by the groom and her husband's family as a wife, they had to use that cowhide scarf to cover their face to avoid being robbed by another groom.

Before the wedding was celebrated, the girls always had to use a veil called Burga as a way to keep their dignity before officially going home to her husband. On the wedding day, Rashaida bride will wear a red outfit with a variety of valuable jewelry to prove to the tribe about her family's beauty and wealth.

During the wedding, the bride will dance her traditional dance as a thank you to the guests who attended. After that, the inhabitants of the tribe will dance together, have fun and enjoy goat meat .
