The era of dominance of large reptiles

In the newly published book, British paleontologist Dr. Mark Witton recreated the life of dinosaurs, a reptile that once dominated the world through many vivid drawings.

Two thunder lizards (Brontosaurus) are fighting for dominance.From the excavated skeletons, scientists believe that their fighting tool is an unusually long neck.This species lived about 155-152 million years ago.

Some dinosaurs have anatomical characteristics that show that they perform many unusual behaviors.The species Oryctodormeus lived 95 million years ago with a bone structure adapted to digging.

Dinosaurs dominated Dai Trung Sinh, one of the three great geologic colonies of 251 million years ago, lasting about 186 million years.This period was separated into three geological periods: the Triassic period, the Jurassic period (Chu La) and the Cretaceous period (White Chalk).This is a period of strong tectonic, climate and evolutionary activities.The continents began to move closer and closer to form today.Many other animals also developed at the same time as dinosaurs like a pair of amphibians named Wesserpeton shaped like a set.On the far side are two foot dinosaurs, Sauropoda lizards, belonging to the largest animal group that ever lived on land.This species appeared from the Jurassic period 150 million years ago to the end of the Cretaceous, 66 million years ago.

Many reptile groups began invading the sea at this time.An Opthalmosaurus fish lizard is swimming in shallow water with some small flying lizards also floating on the water.

The first mammals appeared in the early Middle Ages, living with large dinosaurs.

However, reptiles still dominate the Earth at this time.The giant crocodile Deinosuchus is about the size of the largest carnivorous dinosaurs.They often live in rivers and coastal waters.
