The first antimicrobial screen in the world
Corning, known for its Gorilla Glass range, has announced the launch of a new toughening glass for the world's first auto-antimicrobial mobile devices.

According to Pocket-link, the new glass is built on silver ion technology with a special antimicrobial agent, which can automatically inhibit the growth of algae, bacteria, mold. ... existing on the user's mobile screen.
Speaking to CNET, Corning representatives said that if the glass is applied to the mobile device, it can automatically kill up to 99.99% of the bacteria are on the screen.
