In nature, tree frogs, crickets and some other animals can adhere to surfaces easily. Why are they capable of that?

The research team, under the guidance of expert Abhijit Majumder of the Indian Institute of Technology, found that tree frog toe liver contains 'micro-groove models', which increase the adhesion of the toe on many different surfaces. And when frogs lift their feet, the surfaces remain unaffected.

Simulating this structure, the team built a tape with flexible layers with tiny grooves, which contain air or liquid, and these layers are placed just below a glue on the outside. and.

The results were surprising: the adhesion of the 'frog foot' tape increased to 30 times that of conventional tape , and after the tape was removed from the surfaces, the surfaces were still clean, not at all. sticky glue - ie the glue structure is not broken. Moreover, this tape can be used many times, not just once, or twice, as regular tapes.

The research team hopes this new technology will be used to manufacture many kinds of convenient stickers, stickers (sticker) for food, household items .
