Because over the years, the health insurance fund is always in a state of overspending, if the fee for hospital fees increases, the fee for buying health insurance does not increase, the fund will be severely broken .

Although the cost of health insurance is increasing, all people participating in health insurance will be supported. Insurance agencies will have to recalculate from the beginning the same rate of payment, even at that time people only pay 15% and not 20% today. Therefore, the rights of health insurance participants are always guaranteed.

Accordingly, the fee for buying health insurance may increase to 40% . For example, the current face value of health insurance cards is VND 450,000 / person / year will increase to VND 600,000 / person / year. With this new increase, the health insurance fund will be stable in paying higher hospital fees.

Specifically, the increase in hospital fee according to the new draft, which is health insurance instead of paying 3,000-5,000 VND / time for medical examination and treatment, the rate of new medical examination is 30,000 VND / time (for the highest-ranking hospital) and from 10,000-20,000 VND / time for lower level hospitals (7 times higher than the old price). The price of hospital beds / day from 10,000 will increase to 50,000-100,000 VND / day, depending on the treatment route. It is known that up to now, 60% of the population has participated in health insurance, the rest have not participated in this health insurance, up to 15% of the near poor. In addition, about 25% are self-employed, voluntary health insurance farmers. The state should also have a policy to support 20% of health insurance participation costs to reduce the burden on these subjects.
