The kiss may have originated in China 2000 years ago

The kiss was very popular in the West, but perhaps the first kiss originated in China more than 2,000 years ago in the image of two men and women kissing on the ancient Chinese dynasty.

According to People, the ancient sarcophagus of the Han Dynasty (206 BC - 220 AD) carved the lips of men and women touching their lips. The plate is displayed in the city of Xian, Sichuan Province.

Chinese archaeologists say this is the first image to portray male and female kissing in Chinese history. The two sat in the middle of the trees, like in a romantic garden. Therefore, they called it "First Chinese Kiss."

By the Tang Dynasty (618-690 and 705-907 AD), the kiss became popular in China , the way people express love to each other. At that time, many ancient Chinese poetry wrote about the joy of love and kiss.

According to Psychology Today, the Vedas and Kama Sutra of India also have many chapters describing kisses. Some anthropologists believe that the Greeks learned Indians how to kiss when Alexander the Great invaded India in 326 BC. However, there is no definitive evidence that the kiss originated in India.
