The mysterious fossil of strange strange animal teeth in Quang Nam
Two parts of a set of teeth, the length of the tooth is estimated from 1m to 1.2m, and if it is of an animal, it must be a very large animal.
Mr. Ngo Dang Khoa, high school literature teacher Phan Boi Chau, City of Tam Ky, Quang Nam, said that he was storing small pieces thought to be of a fossilized teeth that he took from a deep valley at Nui Thanh district, Quang Nam.
A small piece is said to be a fossilized set of teeth.
During a fieldwork, Mr. Khoa's friend discovered that the 'stones' had a strange shape, taking a hoe to add to it, and broke off in a special way. Come and see, Mr. Khoa brought back some small pieces.
These are bone masses that have the same structure as a large animal's teeth, the height of these 'teeth' is 15cm, width of 6cm, is arranged regularly and the teeth are quite pointed like those of animals eat meat .
One tooth remaining in the tooth surface, according to Mr. Khoa's opinion, these are two parts of a set of teeth, the length of the tooth is estimated from 1m to 1.2m, and if it is of an animal then it must be a very big animal.
Mr. Ho Xuan Tinh, a cultural researcher of Quang Nam, said it was elephant teeth. And Mr. Tran Tan Vinh, Director of Quang Nam Provincial Museum disagrees, but what kind of species he cannot confirm.
Khoa hopes that interested scientists will soon find an answer. If it is true of an animal's teeth, it is likely that this will be a proof for studying paleontology, geology, history and many other sciences in Quang Nam.
