The mysterious 'monster worm' appeared on the glacier

According to the Daily Mail, Irish scientists are learning about a strange species called Nessie (Loch Ness monster) of the country.

This creature has the scientific name Lagarfljótsormurinn . It is shaped like a giant snake but many people in the area still call it "deep monster".

Strange creatures appear on glaciers

This mysterious creature appeared in a scientific report in 1345 but it was not until 2012 that a citizen recorded the video of it swimming under the glacier Jökulsá í Fljótsdal, eastern Iceland.

The video was later recognized as real and without any editing effects. The person who filmed the video was Hjörtur Kjerúlf who was also surprised by the appearance of the creature.
