The North of Vietnam rains heavily to prevent flash floods
From tonight, the cold air will pour into the rain to come to Thanh Hoa. In the coming days, the water level on the Red, Thao and Lo rivers will rise. Mountainous provinces need to prevent flash floods on small rivers and streams and landslides.
According to the Central Center for Hydrometeorology Forecasting, from the night of June 15, Northern and Thanh Hoa provinces will have moderate rainfall, heavy rain to very big, lasting until June 17. The reason is that cold air rushes down, pushing the low pressure groove back into this area.
In the rain there is a high probability of occurrence, whirlwinds, hail, and strong winds. Disaster risk level: level 1. Hanoi area from tonight to June 18 has showers and thunderstorms.

The flow to large reservoirs on the upper Red River will increase rapidly with flood amplitude of 1300-1500 m3 / s in Lai Chau Lake area; from 1,800-2,000 m3 / s in Son La lake on Da river. During this flood, the flood peaks on the rivers are still below the alarm level 1.
In mountainous provinces, it is necessary to prevent flash floods in small rivers and streams and landslides, especially in some provinces in the Northwest region such as Lai Chau, Son La, Dien Bien, Lao Cai, Yen Bai and Ha Giang.
