The Peak of the Snow

Nhi Co Co San is a high mountainous area in Bat Xat district, Lao Cai province. This is a mountain block with the famous complex terrain of the region, in the cold monsoon season, Nhiu Co San often sinks in frost.

We started the journey to conquer the mountain from the Nhi Co Co village.The distance from the center of Sang Ma Sao commune to the hamlet is about 15 km with steep slopes up and down and slurry with mud.

In cold weather conditions, we prepared our furniture very carefully.At the foot of the mountain at this time, the vision was quite limited, the thick fog was like "swallowing" the trees in front of you.The price is frigid, but not so we are discouraged.

The Nhi Cou Forest seems to have turned ice.The drops of dew condensed on the leaves of the tree also became icy.Dried flowers seem to be more vivid and beautiful with a transparent coating.

The cold and wind caused the drops of water to become sharp spikes full of leaves.

The forest became more meek with ancient trees white because of frost.

Passing through the glass forest, we reached the peak of Nhi Co Co San with a height of 2,966 m.The mountain reaches its arrogance between the clouds.This is one of the top 10 highest mountains in Vietnam.
