Frost appears on Fansipan peak

Temperatures in Fansipan peak (Sa Pa, Lao Cai) below 0 cause condensation to form ice.

From the night of October 31, the temperature in Fansipan (Lao Cai), the mountain peak is 3.143m above the sea level. flagpole condensed into thin ice.

By 9:00 am on November 1, the heat in Fansipan increased by 7 degrees, the sun caused the ice to melt quickly. This is the first time that ice has appeared on Fansipan peak since early October.

Along with Fansipan, the temperature early in the North is low. Sa Pa town (1,600 m high compared to sea level) is 9 degrees Celsius. Other high mountain areas such as Sin Ho (Lai Chau), Pha Din (Dien Bien), Mau Son (Lang Son) below 12 degrees C Midlands and plain 16-18 degrees C.
