The photo shook in Alaska
The heartbreaking image of young polar bears scrambling for plastic containers shows the dreadful human impact on the environment.
Mirror recently published Daniel Sullivan's photos of polar bears and plastic waste in Alaska . These bears are very hungry because they cannot hunt seals until the ice has formed.
Mr. Sullivan took pictures showing one bear stuck in the bottle, two other bears scrambling for a piece of plastic and another bear gnawing at the plastic packaging.

These show the impact of plastic waste pollution and climate change on wildlife, 58-year-old photographer living in Los Angeles said. He took these photos while in Katovik.
He said: "These pictures were taken in early October. At that time years ago, the entire area was covered with 1.5m thick ice."

"The weather is 5 degrees warmer than last year, so ice formed at the end of the month instead of the beginning of the month as usual, " added Mr Sullivan. "This phenomenon shortens the polar bears' hunting season and It will certainly affect them. '
'The fact that the plastic jar appeared in Alaska shows that what we are doing affects everything in the world,' he said. 'My wife and I cannot interfere with the activities of the cubs because the mother bear is nearby.'

"It is sad because this is not the only time we see rubbish in the most beautiful, most remote places. We are destroying the planet ," he said.
"I really hope people see these pictures and think we really have to start changing the way of life," he added.
