The prehistoric Atlantis was buried by tsunamis
An area known as the "prehistoric Atlantis" on the North Sea coast may have been abandoned after catching a 5-meter tsunami attack 8,200 years ago .

The tsunami was created by the land under the sea off Norway, according to the BBC.
The analysis showed that the 5m-high wave column crashed into Doggerland Island, a lowland in the North Sea off England, and since then it disappeared in the seabed, like the myth of the lost city of Atlantis.
'The Middle Stone Age tribes left Doggerland more than 8,000 years ago, when the landslide occurred,' the BBC quoted Dr. Jon Hill of the Imperial College of London.
And the tsunami wiped out the last people on the island, according to a report on the Ocean Modeling.
Dr. Hill and his colleagues used computer models to examine the effects of landslides off Norway before drawing conclusions.
