Baby was bornonly 23 weeks old

She was born six months ago when she was only 23 weeks old at the Royal Sussex Hospital. At that time, the fetus was too young, the doctors did not know whether to try to save the child. However, when placed on the scale, they found that the baby weighed 450g, the minimum weight for a child to survive. Therefore, they decided to fight to win life for her.

It was only when the baby was given a ventilator that the medical staff discovered that the surgical scissors had been accidentally forgotten on the scale. In fact, little Maddalena weighs only 382g.

Newly born, the baby weighs only 382g, instead of 450g as the original thinkers.

The lucky girl was now able to leave the hospital. Doctors hope the baby will grow into a healthy girl.

Kate Douse, her mother, was delighted with this unexpected miracle, saying: ' We never thought he could live. Now he weighs 2.5 kg and is getting better. We are very happy to welcome new family members on Christmas '.

Research by the British Medical Council has recently shown that more and more premature babies at 24 weeks of age can survive. However, as the number of rescued premature babies increases, the number of children and adults with disabilities also increases.
