The world's most premature baby is coming home

On October 24, 2006, Miami Hospital received the birth of baby Amillia Taylor. Especially, the baby is only 22 weeks in the womb of her mother, weighing 284 grams and 241 mm long. According to doctors, all babies weighing less than 400 grams at birth will die.

However, miracles happened when Taylor lived and was discharged from the hospital soon. Dr. William Smalling said: "Taylor is a wonderful child. She proved that we were all wrong."

When discharging Taylor, she still has some health problems such as: respiratory problems, mild brain hemorrhage and some digestive problems but she will definitely live. Currently the baby has weighed nearly 2 kg and will still be monitored especially when going home. During her stay at the hospital, Taylor's movements were monitored by doctors 24 hours a day.
