Pygmy Marmosets are found in tropical forests of Brazil, Ecuador, Peru and Columbia. Marmosets pygmy are omnivores such as fruits, leaves, insects and small reptiles or sipping whole tree sap, living mainly on trees.
There are 11 different types of monkeys Marmosets pygmy are recorded but all are only 5-6 inches long, do not include tails, claws instead of nails, tactile hair on the wrist and lack of wisdom teeth, weighing 130 grams . These characteristics make them more primitive than other monkeys.
The special door teeth of this small monkey nibble through the bark easily to find the resin they love most.
They move very quickly, being likened to light rays passing through trees. That's why people rarely see them in reality.
