The ring is believed to belong to an aristocrat, it is likely that this will be the beginning of one of the most important archaeological findings in history of Somerset.

Up to now, the value of this ancient ring is still being determined. The ring is currently in the hands of experts at the British Museum in London.

Accordingly, experts said that the ring was born in the period of 200-300 AD.

Worth mentioning, Mr. Massey found the ring in what is said to be a high-class Roman villa area.

'The Somerset archaeological team thinks we have found a high-class villa complex from Roman times, but more thorough investigation is needed , ' Massey said.

According to some local newspapers, Mr. Massey and landowners will share 50:50 profits from the ring when British museum researchers determine its value.

'We do not know the value of the ring, there is nothing like that in the Elder,' he said.

In addition, Mr. Massey was able to excavate 60 more in Crewkerne county, southwest of Yeovil. In it, silver coins are more than gold coins.
