Many parts of a ship that were once full of diamonds and pearls were found off the coast of England.

Two divers have discovered parts of the 334-year-old ship sunk off Cornwall, UK, The Sun reported.

Many cannons and anchors of the President merchant ship appeared on the seabed after a storm swept across the area.

President sank from the 17th century off Cornwall after arriving in India to get diamonds and pearls.

According to the British newspaper, these jewelry are currently worth 8 million USD (~ 244 billion VND), making President become the most valuable shipwreck in the UK.

It overcame many pirate ships and a famine on the ship but was sunk by the storm in 1684.

Ship fragments were discovered 20 years ago. However, the recent larger fragments have just been revealed.

Archaeologist David Gibbins, one of the two divers who discovered the wreck, said: 'For years they have been covered by sand. We are very happy with these findings'.
